On May 28, 2022, the Omnibus direcitve (Directive EU 2019/2161) has altered the law against unfair competition. Among other changes, new duties to supply information about the authenticity of customer reviews have been introduced. Starting on May 28, 2022, companies that advertise with reviews must inform whether they use testing mechanisms for the authentification of their reviews. If yes, the companies must also explain which testing mechanisms they use.
In this shop, only verified buyers can publish reviews. That means that the system checks whether the client has actually bought the product.
