Hoof Stands — for a Secure and Steady Stand during Trimming and Shoeing

As with many aspects of horseshoeing, opinions differ when it comes to the preferred hoof stand. While many swear by their Hoofjack, others prefer a tripod base metal construction.

This brings us to the two main types—hoof stands made entirely of metal or those with a plastic base, both of which come in a variety of designs.

Whether plastic or metal, the important thing is that the hoof stand provides a secure and stable base to prevent the trimming and shoeing from becoming a balancing act. Among our customers, the colored versions of the Hoofjack and the Blacksmith hoof stand with plastic base have become particularly popular.

Flexible Workspace for Plastic Welding with Your Hoof Stand

Here's a tip for those who also offer glue-on horseshoes: Our standard welding device is compatible with both the Hoofjack and the Blacksmith hoof stand. This means you have complete flexibility in choosing your workspace for welding when using the device in your hoof stand.

The standard welding device is inserted into a hoof stand with a green plastic base. A power extension cord for the Steinel hot air gun, which is also attached to the device, is visible. Part of the farrier's vehicle can be seen on the side.
