Hoof Knives by Wolf Busch
Made from durable, stainless CRV steel and equipped with ergonomically designed wooden handles, Wolf Busch hoof knives deliver precise performance for farriers, veterinarians, and horse owners alike.
Models & Blade Shapes
- AG1: The AG1 hoof knife is compact, powerful, and precise. With a total blade length of approx. 64 mm and a cutting edge of about 50 mm, it's ideal for tight frog grooves as well as small and large hooves. The sharp blade made of stainless CRV steel allows effortless work, while the ergonomic drop and curvature support a wide range of applications. A classic wooden handle ensures a secure grip – suitable for any hand size.
- AG1 Short: The AG1 Short hoof knife is a consistent evolution of the proven AG1 – even more compact, even more efficient. With its 10 mm shorter, extremely sharp blade, it offers an improved leverage ratio for particularly low-effort trimming. The newly shaped blade allows precise work even on larger hooves despite its shorter length. The optimized grind ensures maximum sharpness. Like the AG1, it uses durable, stainless CRV steel.
- AG2 Loop : The loop hoof knife with a sharp inside bevel is ideal for precision work in deep, narrow frog grooves and especially small hooves. The closed loop allows for accurate trimming in hard-to-reach areas. Made from high-quality stainless CRV steel, the blade offers lasting sharpness and durability. The classic pear-shaped wooden handle fits comfortably in the hand and provides a secure grip during use.
