Safety Knife for Hoof Wrapping Foil in Farriery
Safety first – this slightly different utility knife fits this principle perfectly. The safety knife CUTX® Maxi X7070 is ideal for carefully cutting open hoof wrapping foil after farriery work – for example, during hoof repairs with Equilox or when bonding a GluShu or turfcord®.
Protected Blade for Greater Safety Around the Horse’s Hoof
The protected blade allows hoof wrapping foil to be cut safely and precisely without having to work directly at the hoof with a fully exposed cutting edge. This reduces the risk of injury and allows for more controlled cutting even in close proximity to the hoof.
The safety knife is durable and suitable for regular use in everyday farriery. If the cutting performance decreases over time, the blade can simply be replaced. This keeps the knife ready for use and makes it a small, reliable tool for daily work around the hoof.
