Mustad - E Slim Horseshoe Nail
The E-Slim nail from Mustad has a longer, slimmer shaft compared to the E-nail. According to Mustad, it is "an intelligent solution for higher nailing." Mustad indicates that this nail is particularly suitable for horses with thin hoof walls, such as Warmbloods, because the slimmer shaft displaces less horn, that's why the probability of chips and cracks in the hoof wall around the nail canal is reduced. However, a downside of a slim nail is that it generally bends more easily.

Mustad - E Slim Copper Nails
Copper-coated horseshoe nails have an antibacterial effect. According to the manufacturer, the quality of the coating on Mustad's copper nails exceeds industry standards.
For this reason, Mustad's copper-coated nails further reduce oxidation in the nail holes. The very smooth surface of the nails allows for precise shoeing.
Mustad - VF Pro Horseshoe Nails
The design of the VF Pro horseshoe nails is based on the VF F nail. The VF Pro features a short neck and a square head. With its slim and slightly longer shaft, it is functionally comparable to slim nails, as it also reduces damage to the hoof wall and allows for higher nailing.
