"Due to the superior tooth design and precision sharpening process, the ORIGINAL Rasp has been the industry standard since its launch. With the ORIGINAL Rasp, Save Edge introduced the world to the modern sharpening process of all rasps. Imitated by many, never matched.
Many of our customers seem to agree, as they often choose "THE ORIGINAL" for their daily work. Of course, this is just one of several Save Edge® rasps, and we currently offer four models in our collection.

Save Edge® THE ORIGINAL - Product Details
The ORIGINAL hoof rasp is highly appreciated for its smooth yet powerful cutting performance. While it generally scores with good durability, every rasp wears out eventually. As one of our best-selling rasps, we offer a discounted bulk price for orders of six or more.

Save Edge® BEAST 14" and 17" - Product Details
The BEAST rasp is available in two sizes: 14" and 17". Its wider surface provides a generous working area, making hoof trimming more efficient. According to Save Edge®, the BEAST 17" offers approximately 40% more cutting surface than a standard rasp, while the BEAST 14" provides 23% more.
The Save Edge® BEAST 17" combines maximum coverage with minimal effort, making it especially suitable for large hooves, such as those of draft horses.

Both the Heavy Duty Shoes and the BEAST 17" rasp impress with their "extra" features — the BEAST 17" with its generous width and the Heavy Duty Shoes with their thicker synthetic coating on the bottom side of the shoe. In addition to the synthetic coating, the metal core of these horseshoes adapts to the needs of large hooves, becoming more robust with increasing hoof size.
Heavy Duty Shoes are available in sizes up to 198 mm, making them, like the Save Edge® BEAST 17", ideal for draft horses.
Save Edge® PHOTO FINISH Hoof Rasp - Product Details
Unlike other rasps designed for a perfect finish, the PHOTO FINISH by Save Edge® does not have two fine sides. Instead, it offers a great combination: the proven teeth of the Save Edge® ORIGINAL on one side and particularly smooth teeth on the other. According to Save Edge®, this rasp is frequently used by farriers at competitions, as it combines sharpness and speed with a flawless finish.
Of course, the Save Edge® PHOTO FINISH is not just for competitions but also suitable for everyday work.
