Application and Dosage of Farrier's Formula®

Dosage
The dosage depends on the horse's body weight:
- 225 kg → approx. 85 g daily
- 450 kg → approx. 170 g daily
- 675 kg → approx. 255 g daily
- 900 kg → approx. 340 g daily
After a feeding period of approximately six to eight months, the amount can be reduced by half if hoof quality is stable. If problems reoccur, it is recommended to return to the original dosage.
- Nursing foals: 43 g (60 ml) per day.
- Weanlings to adult horses: dosage as for adult horses, adjusted to the expected body weight according to the table.
Storage and Handling
To maintain product quality, Farrier's Formula® Original should always be stored in a cool, dry place and protected from direct sunlight. The packaging should be tightly closed after use to protect the ingredients from moisture.
As with all feed supplements: keep out of reach of children and use only according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Farrier's Formula® Original is sold in a 5 kg bucket. This quantity is sufficient for approximately 30 days for a 450 kg horse. In addition to the bucket, we also offer a 5 kg vacuum bag for refilling.
