glue-u SHU CLEANER - Cleaning and Degreasing Hooves
For a reliable glue-on horseshoe application, it's crucial to thoroughly clean and degrease the hoof. The stability of the adhesive bond between the hoof and the glue-on tab or cuff can be significantly affected by various factors.
Recognizing that there's rarely a single correct approach in hoof care, we've decided to include the Shu Cleaner from glue-u in our product range for degreasing hooves.
The glue-u Shu Cleaner is an acetone-free cleaner that, according to the manufacturer, evaporates without leaving residues, ensuring efficient and safe use. Unlike foam cleaners like MEGA FOAM, using the Shu Cleaner eliminates the need to wipe off any foam.
Instructions for Use (as per the label):
Shake the can before use. Generously spray the surface to be cleaned (i.e., the hoof or the glue-on shoe) from a distance of 20 to 30 cm. Allow it to work briefly; if necessary, scrub the surface with a brush. Then spray again until the surfaces are clean. Blow-dry the surfaces or let them air dry.
