What Makes the RoTo Kruna Roto Rasp Special

The roto rasp is a versatile cutting tool designed for use with standard angle grinders. It is ideal for working on wood, plastic, rubber, synthetic resin, and other soft materials. This also makes it suitable for working on our composite and urethane horseshoes and accessories.

Thanks to its special cutting-edge geometry, the roto rasp removes significantly more material than conventional sanding discs or sandpaper. At the same time, it is far less likely to clog than traditional grinding discs. This is especially useful when adding a deeper tread pattern afterward.

Suitable for Working on Plastic

The roto rasp is ideal for adjusting the plastic shell of our composite and urtehane horseshoes. It can also be used to work on products made entirely of plastic, such as plastic horseshoes, wedges , Extensions , and similar products.

Not Suitable for Working on Metal

Do not use the roto rasp on metal. When adjusting composite horseshoes, make sure the roto rasp does not come into contact with the metal core. When working on the Arizona in particular, be aware that you may reach the metal sooner in the area of the steel border. Always maintain sufficient distance from quarter clips and other metal components of the horseshoe.

Not Suitable for Hoof Trimming

In our opinion, the roto rasp is not suitable for hoof trimming, primarily because the risk of injury would be too high. For this application, we recommend the proven fiber discs made by Pferd.
