Foam Boards – Self-Adhesive Foam Sheets

Whether you are applying a padded horseshoe with a pour-in / injectable hoof packing or carrying out a hoof correction or hoof wall reconstruction using hoof repair material, these self-adhesive Foam Boards are an invaluable aid.

With a width of almost 20 cm, these square foam sheets are suitable for both small and larger hooves.

Working with Foam Boards

The Foam Board is attached beneath the horseshoe (or hoof) before the pad material is applied. It acts as a temporary barrier for the liquid padding material. Once the material has cured, the Foam Board can be removed easily.

In the official instruction video for Shupack, the urethane pour-in hoof packing from glue-u, it is recommended not to remove the protective backing from the center section of the Foam Board. This makes it easier to separate the Foam Board from the horseshoe after the curing process is complete.

Please follow the safety instructions provided for the hoof packing or hoof repair material being used. Dispose of the Foam Boards responsibly after use and in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations for the product used.
