Glue-on Horseshoes

Horseshoes can be glued directly or indirectly onto the hoof. With direct gluing, the glued shoe is attached to the bearing edge of the hoof; with indirect gluing, the shoe is fixed to the hoof using glue-on tabs or collars. We offer various tabs and collars in our range, which have been developed specifically for the indirect gluing of our horseshoes.

If you opt for a glue-on horseshoe, we recommend our popular Wolf Busch glue-on tabs.

The adhesive collars Profi and Easy also have their fans, but the majority of our customers choose the tabs.

If you are starting with gluing, take a look at our advantageous starter sets.
The larger sets include not only the necessary accessories for gluing but also our welding deviced, which have been specially developed for plastic welding glue-on tabs onto a horseshoes. It was important to us to provide a solution so you can always have an optimal workspace for welding on-site and quickly and reliably create strong weld seams between the shoe and adhesive collar. Since then, the welding devices have become an essential part of our product range.

For glue-on shoes, you can generally use all horseshoes from our range, with the exception of the Arizona. However, we recommend the 'Nailless', which was specifically developed for glueing.

Regardless of which model you use, please remember to remove all knobs in advance to be on the safe side. If the knobs have not yet fully penetrated the hoof horn when gluing, the tabs may be compressed later, which could have a negative effect on the secure hold of the adhesive horseshoe.
